Find the right wood finish and slat size
Compare paint and stain samples with your cabinetry, floors and window trim. A stained finish highlights wood character, while paint can create a more uniform look. Ask about the finishes available in your preferred 2-inch or 2½-inch slat size and confirm mounting clearance before ordering.
Real wood or faux wood?
Choose real wood when natural material and a painted or stained finish are central to the room design. For moisture-prone rooms, compare moisture-resistant faux wood blinds and discuss the conditions with our team. Confirm suitability for the specific product before deciding.
Daylight, privacy and the view
Horizontal slats tilt to adjust light and privacy. Raising the blinds opens the window view. For bedrooms, discuss how much light you want to reduce and whether blackout roller shades better suit the project.
Will every wood slat look identical?
